UMBRO HAND JOE HART WHITE-OUT GLOVES
Having released the special edition and player exclusive White-out Speciali 4 and Geometra Pro II boots, Umbro have also created a special pair of white-out Geometra Pro Touch for England and Manchester City number 1 Joe Hart.
Hart gave the new white-out Speciali 4 boots their debut last weekend along with the all white gloves and will wear them again during the FA Cup Final this weekend. Umbro had a strong link with the FA Cup – being the official ball supplier until Nike took over.
The innovative double barrel palm construction on Geometra Pro Touch Glove allows a greater degree of control by promoting technique in the key goalkeeping “W” fingers. The high performance lightweight breathable glove body offers optimum fit and feel for players at every level. The elasticated neoprene wristband gives dynamic wrist support, whilst the extended palm of the Geometra Pro Touch Glove aids the player with any spilled shots.
Joe Hart will wear a pair of gloves made for the occasions with his regular JH1 insignia alongside the words ‘FA Cup Final 2013′.
UMBRO SPECIALI 4 – WHITE-OUT
Umbro’s Speciali silo is synonymous with class and comfort. The heritage boots from the UK brand seldom arrive in flashy colourways and the latest, highly limited, White-out edition proves that you don’t need wild colours to make a great looking boot.
The recently released Speciali 4 has continues Umbro’s tradition of fine leather craftsmanship in their most iconic boot. This is only the S4’s second colourway and will undoubtedly be one boot fans would love to get their hands on. This will be hard to do however as the boot will be exclusive to players in the UK and not be available in stores while they will be available in selected places worldwide in highly limited quantities.
The White-out S4 will be worn for the rest of the season by West Ham forward Andy Carroll as well as Manchester City’s Joe Hart. Hart celebrated his 100th consecutive league game in goal for Manchester City by debuting the S4 with a matching pair of Umbro Neo 2 Pro Shotgun GK gloves. Hart will match a stylish White-out pair of gloves to this new Speciali 4 colourway as well.
The new Speciali 4 Pro boot is built for an ultra comfortable fit and feel – characteristic synonymous with the Speciali silo. The premium waterproof leather upper provides a great touch and feel for the ball. The iconic ‘A-Frame’, which offers reassuring stability and support to the feet has been retained. The new Speciali 4 also has a microfiber heel insert to improve grip throughout the game.
UMBRO GEOMETRA PRO II – WHITE-OUT
Along with the release of the special edition White-out Speciali 4, Umbro have also released a Geometra Pro II which has received the same treatment.
The quality and finish premium kangaroo leather upper really comes to the fore in this white-out colourway. The traditional leather upper offers unrivalled comfort and ball feel while control is enhanced thanks to the rubberized print detail. The detail helps increase traction and swerve on the ball in both wet and dry conditions.
Umbro’s famed ‘A Frame’ support provides an enhanced fit and comfort. As a control boot the standout feature of the new Geometra Pro II is the redesigned Medial pass pad with HF memory foam insert for greater control when receiving and disturbing the ball.
While the upper has a new look the new Geometra Pro II does have some similarities to its predecessor. The off centred lacing creates a larger strike zone on the medial side of the boot while the TPU soleplate features the same circular stud configuration for maximum traction and acceleration. The insole has a PU insock for comfort while the Phylon insole aids cushioning and fit.
Unfortunately the White-out Geometra will not be seen in the Premeir League as no pros currently wear the control boot. It will also not be available in UK stores while they will be available in selected places worldwide in highly limited quantities..
UMBRO GEOMETRA PRO II – BLACK/BLUEBIRD/DARK SHADOW
It has been a few months since we first brought you the new Geometra Pro II football boots from Umbro. Released in a stylish White/Royal Blue/Black and Sulphur Spring/Navy and now a simpler Black/Bluebird/Dark Shadow colourway, the new Geometra is now available worldwide.
The premium kangaroo leather upper (something we are seeing less and less these days) offer unrivalled comfort and ball feel while control is enhanced thanks to the rubberized print detail. The detail helps increase traction and swerve on the ball in both wet and dry conditions.

UMBRO GT II PRO – NEON YELLOW/BLACK
It has been awhile since Umbro unveil a new colourway for their speed boot the GT II Pro. Umbro have made our weight worthwhile however with the release of two of what are arguably their best ever colourways.
Umbro’s GT II Pro has built a solid reputation for itself in what is arguably the most competitive boot silo – speed. In order to get your boots noticed in the speed boot category they have to be light and eye-catching. Umbro’s GT II Pro may not be the lightest but their new Neon Yellow/Black colourway may be the brightest.
A lightweight Japanese micro-fibre upper provides both softness and strength, with asymetric concealed lacing providing a greater strike surface. The upper is coated with a print application for enhanced ball touch, and ably assisted by ridged lines radiating from the toe area out through the Umbro logo. The surface of the GT II Pro generates additional friction for boot-to-ball contact and control in wet conditions.
The anatomical last and removable sock-liner with Poron Performance inserts provide superb comfort. The outsole has anatomically shaped plates, sculpted to reduce weight. The lightweight sole plate is built to give improved grip and traction.

In their first major headline grabbing move since their sale by Nike, Umbro have released their latest update to their most iconic boots – the Speciali. The Speciali range has always been known for their traditional and classy style and Umbro haven’t disappointed with the new Speciali 4.
Arriving in a super stylish and classy Pearlised White/Silver/Black colourway, the new Speciali 4 Pro boot is built for an ultra comfortable fit and feel – characteristic synonymous with the Speciali silo. We have seen almost all of Umbro’s players move off the double diamond, with most of them ending up in Nike boots. One player who has remained however is Manchester City and England number 1 Joe Hart.
