ADIDAS PREDATOR LZ SL – METALLIC SILVER/GREEN ZEST/BLACK
Adidas have become the kings of lightweight over the past few season and with each release of a new boot we soon see an SL version. Despite the Predator LZ SL having no official on-field support we have seen a couple players such as Brad Friedel and Jamie Carragher wearing the SL in the Premier League.

The Predator LZ SL weighs just 205g making them a serious contender in the lightweight market. The SL’s third colourway will certainly catch the eye in this new Metallic Silver/Green Zest/Black colourway.

The main difference between the LZ and SL version is the upper. The LZ features a newly engineered Hybridtouch upper which gives the wearer the benefit of both a synthetic and leather upper. The SL on the other hand features an Adidas SprintSkin similar to the AdiZero.

The five lethal zones have also changed a little with the dribble, sweet spot and pass zones all suffering from weight loss. The drive and first touch zones however have remained largely untouched.

The Predator LZ SL weighs just 205g making them a serious contender in the lightweight market. The SL’s first colourway was a simple black colourway with eye-catching accents, the fourth colourway has a similar feel with a new Black/Vivd Pink/Iron Metallic paint job.

ADIDAS PREDATOR LZ SL
There is no shortage of lightweight boots available on the market at the moment and now Adidas have added another one. Having just seen Puma release an SL version of their ‘power’ boot the PowerCat1.12, Adidas have released an SL version of their Predator LZ.

The Predator LZ is already astonishingly light but now you can get an even lighter LZ with the release of the 205 gram Predator LZ SL – and you have two eye-catching colourways to choose from! The first LZ SL colourway is this Infrared/Black/Core Energy colourway.

The new LZ hasn’t even been released for retail yet but they are already one of the most sought after and highly rated boots around. This is thanks mainly to the five innovative Lethal Zones which enable accurate passing, responsive receiving, finesse first touch, precision striking and controlled dribbling.

So where have Adidas saved weight then? First of all the main difference between the LZ and SL version is the upper.

The Predator LZ SL is made for players who want a bit extra from the LZ and will undoubtedly look to turn heads. This being the case we are sure this Electricity/Black/Lab Lime colourway will prove to be a bit hit.

With so many light weight options (and with the LZ weighing such a little anyway) it is no surprise that Adidas will not give these boots any on field support. Despite this, we are sure that these boots will be spotted on professional pitches sooner rather than later.
