NEW ADIDAS WHITE/BLUE/GOLD ADIPURE III COLOURWAY
The Adidas AdiPure has become one of the best ‘touch’ boots on the market. Their quality leather upper and classic design has made them a favorite with the heritage boot fans. The original release of the AdiPure III’s saw a White/Gold/Black version appear along with the traditional Black/White version. This is now the fourth incarnation after a Gold/Black version was released late last year. Frank Lampard, one of the main AdiPure wearers, has been using the White/Gold colourway but you can expect him to switch over to this one I’m sure. A great match for his Adidas supplied Chelsea jersey. It is a real blow that these won’t be seen on African soil unless a player brings a pair over with him for the World Cup.

NEW ADIDAS SCARLET F50i COLOURWAY
The F50i has been a very successful boot for Adidas and has put up a real challenge for the ‘best speed boot’ title. Of the three new releases from Adidas, this is the only one that will see South African shores unfortunately. Maybe you are tired of your Macaw Green F50i’s? Well you can replace them with this new Scarlet colourway. Expect to pay around R2199 for them.

NEW ADIDAS F50i LIONEL MESSI COLOURWAY
Lionel Messi, who recently won the Ballon d’Or was spotted wearing a brand new F50i colourway this weekend when Barcelona played Real Madrid. The white/navy/gold colourway will be worn exclusively by the Argentinean. Unfortunately this colourway will not be available in South Africa.

There will be another colourway released in March of the current version F50’s with a champions league match up. This will be their last colourway as May/June 2010 will see a brand new F50 for WC2010.

BLAME MY BOOTS SAYS DEFOE
Jermain Defoe credits his goal scoring blitz to Spurs development coach Clive Allen.
Allen was a prolific striker in his day. It wasn’t a technique tip that got Defoe in the groove, but a boot choice.
Jermain was laced into the recently released Macaw Green F50i boot which Adidas had given him, when Allen stepped in and said he couldn’t wear them. The on-fire English hitman changed into the Silver/Red colourway.
A decision he won’t regret! Everything he touched seemed to hit the back of the net.
The price of Silver/Red F50i’s has rocketed this week after the demand increased seven-fold. Wigan boss, Roberto Martinez, went on a shopping spree to buy all his players a pair.

NEW ADIDAS F50i COLOURWAY
If you watched the game last night between Aston Villa and Manchester City, you would have noticed Ashley Young in a shiny new pair of F50i boots.
Young has not been in the best of form so far this season and would have hoped to put in a strong performance against City.
Sporting the soon to be released Silver/Red colorway, young flew up and down the touch line.
He was broken in half 10 minutes from half time, by a crunching tackle from Nigel de Jong and never really seemed to recover.
Pity. Not the best debut for the new Adidas boot but I’m sure we will see a lot more from this particular colorway.
Keep an eye out for them!
