NIKE CTR360 MAESTRI III – WHITE/CRIMSON/BLACK
Nike’s 6th CTR360 Maestri III colourway is perhaps not the most eye-catching nor is it as fresh looking as the new Mint/Black/Lime colourway. However the new White/Crimson/Black combination will certainly be a big hit with boot fans.
Made for the midfield maestro, the new CTR360 Maestri III is reengineered to deliver enhanced control, traction, support and lightweight comfort. Using next generation Kanga-Lite synthetic material for an assured touch and durability, the new boot also features new All Conditions Control (ACC) technology, providing the same level of control in either dry or wet conditions.
Innovations include a revamped 3D control pad that uses separate strips with fins of varying sizes to hug the arch and maximize contact with the ball, optimizing receiving and passing accuracy.
An asymmetrical lacing system enlarges the area used to control the ball and a new streamlined design enhances touch sensitivity. A dimpled texture on the midfoot increases friction, once again aiding the players control and touch.
The new and more responsive plate features a 360 degree stud placement – the boot deploys round studs on the medial side and blades on the lateral – is designed to provide premium comfort; perfect for the midfielder’s constant turns, and cuts through the pitch.

NIKE UNVEILS ALL CONDITIONS CONTROL TECHNOLOGY ACROSS FOOTBALL BOOTS
With the release of their new winter boot collection, Nike have also revealed that All Conditions Control is now available across all Nike boots including Mercurial Vapor VIII, Tiempo Legend IV, CTR360 Maestri III and Total 90 Laser IV.

Nike All Conditions Control (ACC) technology allows the boot’s surface to maintain the same level of friction, touch and control on the ball in wet and dry conditions. The ACC technology is created by a special treatment during the development of the upper materials to deliver a consistent feel on the ball at all times.

Wherever football is played, weather plays its part: In London alone, during the season an average of 125 days will experience some rainfall, making receiving and passing a ball tricky for even the best players. Nike’s All Conditions Control (ACC) ensures the surface of the boot upper delivers consistent friction between boot and ball in wet weather conditions allowing the player an assured touch similar to the feel of the ball in dry conditions.

The need for consistent touch and feel on the ball in wet weather is an insight shared by many footballers Nike’s design teams talked to, including the likes of Andrés Iniesta.

NIKE CTR360 MAESTRI III – BLACK/WHITE/CRIMSON

One thing that as stuck with the silo through all three incarnations is the two-tone upper, and black, red and white have featured in both the previous launches. The new Maestri III has seen the launch Sonic Yellow/Black/White colourway grab all the attention but this Black/White/Crimson colourway reminds us of the beginning.
