ADIDAS ADIZERO MICOACH – BLACK/METALLIC SILVER/LAB LIME

With the Euro’s over brands have begun releasing new colourwys ahead of the new season’s kick-off. The Adidas AdiZero boots are worn by some of the world’s most exciting players. We have already seen what Lionel Messi will be wearing when the new campaign begins (White/Lime/Onyx), but will the likes of Ashely Young and Gareth Bale be wearing? The answer – this Black/Metallic Silver/Lab Lime colourway.

Adidas’ AdiZero range is known for their lightweight design and as the first boot to feature MiCoach technology. They are also usually given a seriously eye-catching paint job. Adidas have released some a little more subtle this time around however.

Adidas’ Sprintweb offers increased lateral stability and support, especially across the mid-foot, to transfer the forces from the outsole to the upper. The Sprintskin adiLite Twin material upper is a single-layer synthetic which reduces weight and gives improved ball feel. The Sprintframe outsole is a thin, flexible and lightweight, revolutionary one-piece chassis with the Speed Cell cavity for Micoach.

ADIDAS ADIZERO MICOACH – WHITE/WHITE/RUNNING BLUE

Adidas have frequently released a mostly white (with a splash of colour on the studs) colourways for the AdiZero such as the Lightening White/Cyan AdiZero I and Lightening White/Infrared AdiZero Prime colourways. Now it is the turn of the MiCoach AdiZero to get the white-out treatment as Adidas release the White/White/Running Blue colourway.

The AdiZeo MiCoach was the first Adidas boot to feature the built in cavity within the outsole which houses the revolutionary miCoach Sensor. The synthetic upper features Adidas’ Sprintweb which provides stability during high speed movements. The lightweight Sprintskin upper is a revolutionary single layer synthetic which provides incredible ball-feeling and reduced weight. Adidas groundbreaking Sprintframe uses geometrics and new stud construction to offer the perfect balance between lightweight and stability.

The first white-out AdiZero was released as a synthetic upper with the previous version only available in a leather upper. This time around however it is the synthetic version which has received the white paint.

A black-out release from Adidas is something we are used to now. Boot fans always look forward to Adidas boots getting the black-out treatment and now the German giants have given it to their hugely successful AdiZero Micoach boots.

The new Black/Black/Infrared colourway is similar to the Black/Black/Warning AdiZero I colourway which was released in both synthetic and leather uppers. The Black/Black/Electricity AdiZero Prime colourway only came in synthetic however while this colourway will only be available in a leather upper.

ADIDAS ADIZERO MICOACH – WHITE/LIME/ONIX

Adidas have unveiled their latest AdiZero MiCoach colourway which will be worn exclusively by Leo Messi in Spain. Messi hasn’t been given his very own boot like we have seen with David Beckham, however the Barcelona star frequently gets exclusive wearing right of a particular colourway and that is the case with these White/Lime/Onix boots. This colourway will have very little (if any at all) game time during the Euros will no players set to officially wear the colourway. However we can expect to see a few players in them later on.

The adiZero F50 boot includes a built in cavity within the outsole which houses the revolutionary miCoach Sensor (Data Capture Chip). The miCoach Sensor captures 360 degrees movement and measures key performance metrics including speed, average speed (recorded every second), maximum speed (recorded every five seconds), number of sprints, distance covered, distance at high intensity levels as well as steps and stride rates. The on-board memory stores up to seven hours of all measurements during your game or training and then wirelessly transmits the on pitch performance data to your tablet, PC or MAC.

Adidas were set to put Messi in the new White/Lime/Onix colourway had Barcelona made the UEFA Champions League Final. That wasn’t to be however so we will have to wait a little longer to see them in action. They will however be available to pre-order ahead of hitting stores on the 1^st of June.

NEW ADIDAS ADIZERO MICOACH COLOURWAYS

Adidas are set to unveil two new colourways for their hugely successful AdiZero – Prime Blue/Electricity/Silver and Phantom/Warning/Silver.

The two new colourways are stand alone colourways and will receive no on-field support. We think this is a real pity as both are great looking colourways. With the Euros not far away Adidas will unveil a host of new colourways for that competition so expect players to remain in the current Prime Blue/High Energy colourway until then.
