THE RIGHT WINGER PT2 – BECKHAM

Love him or hate him. Mock or respect him. Whatever you do, you can’t deny that David Beckham is brilliant!

If there is a player who can consistently send accurate crosses and free-kicks into dangerous areas more then Beckham, I’m not sure who it is.

Sure he is slower than he used to be. Maybe on the other side of his prime. But with his experience, tactical brilliance and leadership quality (providing he is fit and playing) Beckham, even as a squad player is a must!

He may no longer be a starter and may sit unused on the bench at times but his presence in any side is invaluable!

If for nothing else Beckham should be in the squad because he still has the ability to win you the game with a single kick. Ask the Greeks, he only needs 1 minute…

The fact is England is a better side when Beckham is around!

Pack your bags Golden Balls, I reckon you’re going to Africa.
